Dónall Johnston is a former Barrister and the principal Solicitor in the firm. Prior to establishing Johnston Solicitors, Dónall worked in one of Ireland's leading commercial law firms on complex litigation and bankruptcy cases.
Prior to joining one of Ireland's leading commercial law firms, Dónall practiced as a Barrister in the Law Library and has extensive advocacy experience across a wide range of areas including Criminal Law, Family Law, Revenue prosecutions, Personal Injury and Judicial Review. Dónall has wide experience in the area of Criminal Law having appeared as both Defense and Prosecution Counsel in criminal trials before the Irish Courts. Dónall has written for the Irish Criminal Bar Association and has had articles published by the European Commission academic network on Criminal Law on "Mandatory sentences in Ireland in relation to Criminal Matters" Dónall is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association, Irish Criminal Bar Association, Lawyers’ Pilots’ Association, AOPA and is a qualified pilot with a particular interest in aviation law. Richard has over thirty years’ experience in providing solutions to clients’ legal problems and has developed the practice to offer legal advice and expertise in a friendly and cost effective manner. He is a former President of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and a former Council Member of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland. Colm specializes in Conveyancing, Probate and estate planning. Whether you are buying or selling Colm is committed to providing a client focused efficient and effective service. Prior to joining the firm Colm is also a qualified pharmacist and optician and ran his own pharmacy and optician business for a number of years.
